Even older phones, like the original iPhone or certain Blackberry’s may still get you close to $100. Although Flipswap is not associated with Verizon, the company currently offers an extra $25 bonus for iPhones send-in before December 30th through their “iDon’t Pay for Droid” campaign.

The proceeds from flipswapping your unwanted phone may pay enough to break an existing contract with AT&T or pay towards the new phone. Even if you don’t get much money out of the deal, knowing that your old phone was properly recycled beats having it sit in a desk drawer or rot in a landfill.
